Obviously taking down notes properly in class is key to improving a student’s academic performance. From a purely esthetic point of view, there are class notes that aren’t very exciting to look at – just a long line of words, sometimes unintelligible, squeezed into boring paragraphs. Others are full of colorful drawings and symbols, and some are real works of art. Whatever the case, both in the classroom and in life, the most important thing is not what something looks like but rather what it holds inside. In the end, the essence of your notes is what counts. What they look like doesn’t really matter at all.
