On fiesta days Segovia’s inhabitants put on their Sunday best and head into the old part of the city to meet up with each other. It’s extremely pleasant just to walk around the colonnades in the Plaza Mayor, in the heart of the city, at the center of which lies a bandstand where bands and orchestras play. Whenever music is being played, you can find a crowd of enthusiastic Segovians there. I like to stay a while, watching the graceful moves of dancing couples.
