Segovia still manages to preserve some of the traditions that are typical of small cities in Spain, such as holding a flea market in the Plaza Mayor. It’s something that people don’t want to see disappear. Every Thursday large numbers of Segovians go to the Plaza to have a look round, buy some food, and bag a bargain or even a real treasure. This open air market is ideal for buying anything from handicrafts and antiques to food and clothing.
