I was walking down Calle Doctor Velasco when I suddenly looked up and saw a man sitting on a stone corner seat. He sat there stock still. His regal countenance made him look like a pharaoh at the top of a pyramid. That’s when I thought that I should occasionally try to come to a complete halt, learn how to forget about time and whatever is weighing me down that day. It’s time to understand that it’s good to just breathe in, gauge my mood, and gather my strength in order to continue on my way feeling better than before. A few seconds later the man got up and walked away until he was out of sight. Lives that are way too busy mean that we need to take a breather. There are also people who spend their time simply watching life go by as if the world had nothing to do with them.
