Who could ever forget? When we were kids and we were having our photo taken, we were told to watch the birdie. That’s because in days gone by photographers used to put a small bird on their camera to attract children’s attention. It was how they got them to look at the camera. I like the way this old-style street photographer has kept up the tradition. When rolls of film were assigned to history, we began to use digital cameras in machine-gun fashion. “Taking” a photo is not the same as “shooting” a photo, don’t you think?
