Made of forged iron and wood, the main staircase of the halls of residence at the Santa Cruz campus still looks amazing to me every time I see it. Someone once wrote that in order to achieve success you should never stop and look at a staircase, but should just start climbing, step by step, and carry on until you get to the top. And if the staircase seems really long, don’t look up, just look at each step. Then you’ll understand that big goals are achieved little by little.
