The same scene can be photographed from many different angles. Seeing as the most obvious angle isn’t always the most inspiring, it’s worth rethinking the take in order to provide another perspective. In this case it was the woman taking the photo that attracted my attention the most, and how well she handled the old-style camera. I have the feeling I may have momentarily messed up the composition of her photo, given that from where she was standing as she prepared to snap these two graduates she must have seen me standing between them, camera in hand.
