There’s an extraordinary building in Segovia which goes unnoticed by many who visit the city. It is Segovia’s old Santa Cruz la Real Convent, a national heritage site and the first Dominican convent in Spain, founded by Domingo de Guzman himself in 1218. It was renovated in the times of the Catholic Kings, who gave their support to the Order. Today the building is a center of learning, housing the main campus of IE University.
