If you really want to find yourself, you have to lose yourself first. A couple stop in the middle of a path to look at a map. They look like they’ve lost their way and are looking for a path that will take them to the city center. Journeys with no element of improvisation or no chance of occasionally getting lost are boring. Life can be very bland indeed if you spend it looking at maps to find your way forward.
