In Segovia we don’t miss the sea, seeing as we’re quite used to living without it. There’s this place on the outskirts of Segovia called Las Lastras where the scenery is spectacular when the sky fills with swirling clouds and swathes of cereals are buffeted by the wind. Here we have a sea of swaying stalks, while the cathedral stands in as the lighthouse that guides and protects us.
