The sounds you hear on IE’s campus are totally contradictory. One minute you can hear the lively comings and goings of students in the hallways, and the next there’s an almost religious silence when they’ve gone into class (the term “religious” being highly appropriate, given that the building is a former Dominican convent). Those moments of peace when the university is quiet are the ideal opportunity to sit down, let your mind rest for a couple of minutes, and recharge your batteries a bit – particularly now that the summer is here – in preparation for your day-to-day routine.
