The IE University campus gardens were the backdrop for the presentation of a work of art called “Waterwall,” which formed part of the tenth edition of Hay Festival Segovia. The artistic display was created by Indian Architect Anupama Kundoo using 5,000 bottles of water. Waterwall is aimed at showcasing the value of water as an essential natural resource and to illustrate the key role it has played for the city of Segovia and its aqueduct, while raising awareness among visitors of the need to protect and look after this precious and increasingly scarce element in the face of climate change. Thirty five students from IE University’s Bachelor in Architecture helped Anupama Kundoo create the display.
